Terms & Conditions

Please read the below terms & conditions carefully before proceeding to order with Baby Care Nursery. If you proceed to order you are acknowledging that you have read these terms & conditions and acknowledge that your order is subject to the terms & conditions.

Delivery

  • Customers must ensure that they provide the correct delivery address as will not be held responsible for lost parcels due to the supply of an incorrect or insufficient address.
  • Once the tracking number has been provided to you, it becomes your responsibility to check the progress of your delivery.
  • If the customer allows an ‘Authority to Leave’ (ATL) for delivery, then there is no insurance coverage once your parcel is delivered or if it becomes lost.
  • Due to the high costs of shipping, we have the right to open/inspect larger products in order to reduce the size of the original packaging.
  • Large items (such as full sized cots, chest drawers, tallboys, toy boxes etc.) are available for delivery within Sydney Metro area only.

Returns & Exchange

Please choose your products carefully as we do not offer refunds for 'change of mind' or incorrect purchases. Any item(s) purchased from Baby Care Nursery can be returned for an exchange or store credit as long as the following criteria has been met:

  • You can provide your receipt as proof of purchase.
  • The item is returned at your own cost within 14 days of the original invoice purchase date.
  • The item(s) is returned unused, unopened, in its original packaging with all tags, labels intact.
  • Any free, bonus or promotional item that was received with the item(s) is also returned unused, unopened, in its original packaging with all tags, labels intact.
  • The item is not a gift card, clearance item, floor display stock item. 

In some very rare circumstance, we may be able to exchange or provide store credit for item(s) returned as used/opened/without original packaging/tags/labels less a 20% re-stocking fee. This will always be at the managers discretion. 

The following items are excluded from any returns or exchanges once opened/used/ without its original packaging/tags/labels:

  • Car seats & capsules
  • Breast pumps, milk bottles, pacifiers etc.
  • Baths, potties & toilet seas etc.
  • Personal care items such as nipple protectors, themometers, underwear etc.
  • Swimwear
  • Machester items such as blankets, pillows, mattress protectors etc.
  • Special Orders of furniture and products that are not usually stocked within our stores or are a pre-ordered item
  • Gift Cards, floor stock or discontinued items that were reduced to clear
  • All refunds and exchanges exclude delivery charges – delivery is non refundable

Lay-Bys

  • Lay-By sales are available only for in-store purchases.
  • The Lay-By is to be fully paid and collected within 3 months.
  • A deposit of $50 or 20% (whichever is greater) is required.
  •  Agreed instalment amounts are due monthly. 
  • If the purchaser cannot complete the Lay-By within the 3 month period or chooses to cancel the Lay-By, then a cancellation fee of 20% of the total order amount will apply.

Warranty

Manufacturer Warranty

  • Please refer to the manufacturer’s product description as the warranty periods differ between brands & items.
  • Baby Care Nursery may assist with your warranty claim if:
  • Your product was originally purchased from Baby Care Nursery.
  • You can produce the original tax invoice.
  • Is within the manufacturer specified warranty period.
  • You are the original buyer (warranty is not transferable beyond the original purchaser).
  • Any abuse or misuse of the items/products are not covered under warranty.
  • Warranty is only valid within Australia.
  • Any freight charges incurred are payable by the customer if the item(s) are required to be sent back to Baby Care Nursery or the manufacturer.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, we will replace the item with one of similar make/value or provide store credit.

Damage on Arrival (DOA) Warranty

  • In the unfortunate event your goods may arrive faulty, broken or not in good working order on initial use; then the customer must notify Baby Care Nursery via email with a clear description of the issue. 
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to immediately check their item(s) for any faults or damages upon delivery.
  • The customer must report any faults or damages to Baby Care Nursery within 48 hours of the product being delivered or Baby Care Nursery reserves the right to refuse any claims made outside of this timeframe.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, we will replace the item with one of similar make/value or provide store credit.


General

  • Baby Care Nursery and its logo is the trademark of Baby Care Nursery Holdings Pty Ltd. All other trade names & trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
  • Due to changing market forces and other extenuating circumstances that affect product availability, and price stability, we reserve the right to withdraw any product we advertise, change prices without notice and cancel orders.
  • Information contained throughout the web pages and in our database is believed to be accurate and reliable at the time of publishing. There may be misprints, human errors, and omissions. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections in prices, products, and specifications without notice.
  • Images displayed on this web site should be regarded as illustrative and informational purposes only. Hyperlinks (URL) provided throughout our product pages can only be used as references only.
  • Please note that the above Terms & Conditions are final and not negotiable. We are obligated to all our customers to apply these policies fairly & consistently, without discrimination or prejudice. If you do not agree to any of the above policies please do not proceed to purchase on our site.
